Voyager Health is a global SaaS platform used by veterinary practices across Mars Veterinary Health to manage hospital operations end-to-end from check in to check out, medical records, finance, appointments, admin and more.
As a product designer in a team of 11, I owned core product domains including Ordering, Wellness Plans, the hospital dashboard and the treatment planner. I streamlined fragmented workflows through cross-domain alignment and creating shared design standards that follow WCAG AAA accessibility guidelines.
Outcome
My work strengthened operational efficiency by streamlining complex clinical workflows and increasing staff productivity by 30%. A standardized, ecosystem‑wide design system improved UI consistency by 40%, enabling faster adoption for other domains and reduced engineering overhead.
By elevating the experience, it was amending mountains of unresolved pain points that accumulated from the technical debt. It also made a significant impact on enabling veterinary staff to work more efficiently and focus on delivering better patient care instead of facing friction while navigating the platform.
